When I said “that on 15 Cartic the Gunge was taken from me & given to Joy Singh.” – I meant that on 15 Cartic the Acct betw: B. Roy & me was settled, when Plf discharged the old Daroga & put in Gopaul Roy; Plf also appd Joy Sing to superintend the gunge, but I was not dischd from my Duty. I continued Acct under Joy Sing.
I only deld an Acct Currt to Plf; the books & papers were kept in the Cutcherry.
The Rent to the 25 Agr: was paid by order of Joy Singh – no bal then due to Compy –
