Indictment further charges that the Prisoner feloniously, willfully & of his mal: aforethought did strike & wound the sd John Wolfe with the sd bullet so shot from the sd gun, giving him therewith a mortal wound on the left side of the Belly below the short ribs, of which wound the sd John Wolfe then & there instantly died, So the Jurors further present that the Prisoner fely willfully & of his mal: aforethought did kill & murder the sd John Wolfe. And lastly it is presented that the Prisoner is subj: to the Jurisdon of this Court by having comd the said Felony & Murder in the Town of Calcutta & Factory of Fort William, & by having been a Brit: Subject resident within the Province of Bengal at the time of committing the same.
