Frid: 7 July 1786.

Mr. Davies now repeated his motion, in the cause of Monick Daroff v Kebleram Day, and added to the grounds of his motion yesterday an affidavit that on Monick Daroff’s death, some police Pykes came & watched the corpse & effects [from] morning till 8 in the Evg when the body was given up to Jaun Ima the widows for whom Mr. D. moves, & that she turnt the body & performed the usual ceremony. And to shew that in Engld such a Rx has moved for wd be granted in favour of [ILL], Exor or Admon, he quoted this case, “Rx by consent to refer it to Prothy to inquire into quantum of debt & value of goods levied. Before Proth: made his report Plf died. Upon applic- of Plf’s Exor who offered to stand in Plf’s place he was made a pty to the Rx; & the Prothy was directed to proceed without Deft’s consent.”
