1778. 4 Sittings. [Friday] Dec. 4.

Neauz Alli, at first refused to make a Copy and said, Why should I copy a draught of the Will of a Man who is Dead? but Zachariah insisting on it, he was prevail’d on to make the Copy.
Zachariah again applied to Neauz to write a copy from another draught, Neauz Alli objected to this also, but though his conscience condemned the Act, his Virtue was not sufficient to resist the Orders of Zachariah and he did write another Copy.
Zachariah wanted to get the Seal of Meer Cauder to one of these Copies: he ask’d Meer Cauder to put his Seal to it: he refused: Zachariah snatch’d up the Seal of Meer Cauder, which had some black-ink sticking in it.
