Plf was arrested in the K’s name, by Frederick D. betw: 2 [ILL] o’clock, & wanted to take him away then but Mr. T: & Mr. G: Plf requested Deft to let them stay - & desired Defts to go below & dine, after them to dine above. Mr. Hickey told Fred: D. he lied, [was?] a scoundrel. Mckenzie.
After Mr. Hickey came, Fred. D. refused to take Plf [ILL] Mr. Justice Hyde’s but to jail; - He did so, Mr. Hickey accomp [ILL] to the place, & then went to Mr. Hyde’s, who was asleep [ILL] servants refused to call him. The under Sheriff went [ILL] Calc: Gaol (I bel:) to bring them to Sheriff’s) Hickey. No. 5 [ILL] till Mr. J. H. cod receive them.
