Conveyance, call’d a Kurtigghee or bill of sale, said that he did not know the Vendor but that a Man desired the Witness to put his Mark as a Witness, and he did so because that Man said, two others had before put their names as Witness, on this the Court were of Opinion the Bill of Sale was not proved, and there on Judgment for the Defendant was given.
