Mem: I have a Copy of the Rule of the Court of King’s Bench for Issuing the Mandamus and a Copy of the Writ of Mandamus written on single sheets of Paper and I design to have them both Copied into a Thin Folio Book (call’d Copies of Records or some such Title) and I also intend to have them both Copied into this Book and also among the Notes of this day Oct 31st 1786, into that Copy of my Notes which Ramtono is writing in Folio Books Bound in Rough Brown Calf Leather.
