for the Plaintiff Mr. Davies advocate for the Plaintiff declared that he had no more Evidence to produce to this Court under the Writ of Mandamus Whereupon the [ILL] called upon Mr. Ledlie who has on the part of the Defendant Cross examined the Plaintiff’s Witnesses (Mr. Stackhouse Tolfrey who has appeared as Attorney at Law for the Defendant being at this time also present) to declare whether any witnesses are to be produced on the part of the Defendant under the Writ of Mandamus to which requisition Mr. Ledlie answered that he looked upon this Court to be a Court held for the examination of Witnesses in this Cause on the part of the Plaintiff in this Cause and that he is not authorized to produce any Witnesses on the part of the defendant.
