By desire of Mr. Stuart who is now Presidt of the Board of Trade I applied to Mr. Davies as Advocate General, who gave the advice that it have should be paid.
I don’t recollect that I ever spoke at all to Kissenpersaud Holdar myself about this note being stolen. He is not my Sercar or in my Service. I don’t know him personally he may perhaps come to my office freqly – but I don’t know it.
