On the 24 Oct: following Kissenpersaud Holdar came & compld that one Callypersaud & Gower hurry Meter had sold him a certify: the paymt of [which] was stopt at the Treary. I inqd after Gowr Hurry but cod not then find him. He has since been fod. I recurred to Callypd’s security & sent for him and he came on same day 24 Oct:. I gave orders 2 or 3 days after that he shod be carried before the sitting Justice. This paper Exh: E is of my writing. I believe this paper which is a Lr was sent by me to Mr. Herman in conseqce of a note I recd from him [Read Exh: E in [which] Mr. Motte desires to know the No of the drat stolen [from Mr. H”]
