Mr. Atkinson was also a Barrister at Law in England admitted to that degree, by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple after Trinity Term 1785. He had left with the Company’s Secretary at the India House, his Certificate of admission by the Society of the Middle Temple to the Degree of Barrister at Law, but it was of no Consequence – as he had brought his Certificate of having been admitted a Barrister in Ireland.
