out as the Property of Mr. Gladwin by the Attorney for Mr. Charles Johnston, who had taken out a Writ of Execution on the Goods of Mr. Gladwin, on a Judgment against Mr. Gladwin on a Warrant to confess a judgment. It was allow’d that the Goods once were the property of Mr. Gladwin, but the Sheriff Justified his refusing to take them in Execution because he said they had been assigned to Major William Scott, in Trust for himself
