I went to the prisr about 12 o’clock I spoke by Guess.
I shew’d the watch to the prisr: and asked him to [buy?] it or to sell it for me. The prisr said leave it with me & I will inquire the value of it. He asked me where I got it & he told me that a Sercar had given it to me to sell. He asked me his name & I told him Govindram Dass. I then went home. Next morning I went to my master’s house, from which I had been absent 5 or 6 days
