hand, and therefore as Ramsurn could not be convicted of Perjury, the Prisoner Kisno Caunt Roy could not be indicted of subornation, and for this Reason he was indicted of only assault and imprisonment and was convicted, on evidence, of his having confined in his house in Calcutta untill the prosecutor sign’d some Bengal Paper, when he was suffer’d to go to Bara-na-gur, near Calcutta, and a short time afterward was arrested and remain’d in Prison till last Term when he was discharged, I think, on common bail.
