Should press your Lordships to call for the assistance of Government in relieving those hardships, at the same time that Justice requires it for the prevention of future escapes.

The Grand Jury, therefore, request that your Lordships will forward this their Presentiment to the Governour General in Council, and recommend to him that a district Gaol be built within a separate Wall for the Felons, and that the present Goal be appropriated entirely to the Debtors.
