me John Hyde Esqr one of the Justices of the Supreme Court of Judicature at Fort William in Bengal this 9th day of October 1787.
This Examinant being duly interrogated says that she is not guilty of stealing the marked No. 150 nor receiving the same knowing it to be stolen but saith that on Friday last he received the same Watch from the hand of Govindram Doss who desired him to sell it for him and promised to give him something for so doing and this Examinant delivered the said watch to Doorgapersaud Shaw to buy it or sell it for him this Examinant does not know [ILL] Govindram Doss lives except some where in the Soba Bazar in Calcutta but has often see him at the Auctions of Mr. Bondfield and MEssrs Burrell and Gould and at other Auctions.
