Shaum said “a broker named Govindram had given it to him to sell” Dft sd “Leave the watch with me to say, & come to-morrow for an answer.” Shaum left it & went away, & the Deft gave it into my hand – when he went to eat his dinner & he told me to take care of it, & remind him of it the next day since it belonged to another person. Next day, when the deft was going out, I put the watch into his hand, & he took it with him.
