I found the house crowded with Bengallies. – I asked wt was the matter they sd a bearer had bn beaten & a woman.
I saw a gun in the prisoner’s house and I asked the bearer if that was the gun with which he had before told me that he had been beaten, he said it was. But he did not point out to me any bloody marks on the gun nor did I see any.
