This day the Judges had a private conference at the Court house, (namely Mr. Justice Hyde, Sir William Jones and I,) on the subject of Mr. William Hart’s admission as an advocate of this Court, which actually took place on the 12th of last day’s business.
Soon after Mr. Hart was admitted, a case in Douglas’s Repts was shewn to the Judges privately by Mr. Davies, the Company’s Advocate General, which case none of us happened to have read, though the book was familiar to us. It is
