Deft is averred to be an Inh of Calc & a person subject to

1 Cot on a written agreemt signed by Deft 23 Pross 1194= 5 Jan. A. D. 1788 by which in conson of 7000 in Land paid + 10,000 to be pd [ill] [ill] &of the remder to be pd, 20 Chait, Deft proved Plf to furnish him wt 20000 R worth of [ill] the produce of Choolia poor to be del. At 18 pottish’s for 1 Sbra that he [ill] begin to measure it by 15 Mauds & compleat the delivery by 15 Beisack [moda replac of measuring specified] & Plf says that he pd to Deft the sd Sums of 7100 SR & 10,000 SR [prout] & that he tendered & offered to pay the remder on 20 Cheit,
