The year 1779 is put by mistake for 1780 in all these payments as appears by comparing this Witnesses testimony with that of Davy Persaud who also makes the last payment on a day which corresponds with 4 Sept. 1780.

Now 15921 S.R. 6 A are equal to 17098 AR 15 A 4 P.

Add the sum paid in Arcot Rs 868………..

The amount will be AR 17966..15. 4.

From which sum paid by plaintiff of 17966..15.4
Deduct the price of salt delivered to Plf 15977..10.0
There remains due to Plf AR 1989..5.4

Decreed that the Deft do pay to the Complainent the sum of AR 1989 with interest at 10 per cent per annum from the 4th of Sept 1780.
