As Banyan of Sheriff’s office told Ducory Bose, before ye sale, that a claim was made by Complaint &c but if Ducotry Bose would indemnify the Sherriff, J. Richardson Esq, he wod sell the house free from incumbrances; he refused to do so, & ye house was sold subject to the Mortgage.
