A. If a man died of a fall so caused, or of a blow on the head I think there would be either wound or contusion. I believe the case of a scull fractured without either wound or contusion may be possible, but it wod be very extraordinary.

I cannot say I recollect any case where a man died of a hurt on the head without a wound or contusion.
I cannot as a professional man well give any opinion whether or no the man might have died of a blow
