fell on her arm, the other on her thigh. She made no complaint of those strokes, but only of the pain in her belly. Though the parts were a little swelled where those strokes fell.

Examd by the Court.
I saw her dead body and shew’d it to the gentlemen (i.e. the Coroner’s inquest,) the belly was not swelled but the skin was a little discoloured. The skin was not broken.
