Respectable Man, not an honest man, not an innocent man. By the Records of this Court it appears an Action was brought by this Beggar for Nine or Ten Thousand Rupees. By Mr. Swinhoe’s account Ramnarain is a Man who advances money to Attornies, and takes it out in Law.
With all the fortitude any Lawyer can have, if there is a Write in one hand, and a cause in the other, he can hardly refuse the Cause. Mr. Swinhoe, because he saw P. & C. on the Badges of the Peons, supposed they might have authority.
When he came to him again Mr. Swinhoe said nothing about the action for seizing
