I used to serve Rajah Petember Meter for five or Seven Rupees a Month, but I used to receive Presents, some times I recd presents to the amount of Fifty Rupees. The Rajah some times gave me Ten Rupees, or Twenty Rupees, some times Shawls some times Jewels.
