The receiver is dated Feb 27th 1784, and is on pages 20 & 25, in a small folio Manuscript book written for me, bound in Vellum and mark’d or call’d No2 Temporary Copy Book, Begun Feb 20th 1784. The receipt is for One Thousand Eight Hundred Arcot Rupees for the arrear of a Salary for Nine Months, payable to a Moulavy.
One Pages 16 and 17 in the same book, is a Copy of a Letter from Mr. Justice Hyde, to Sookmoy Roy directing him who was receiver under Sir Elijah Impey of the Salaries of the Judges, and of all the
