Cause, must first be tried, or in some manner ended. And in Consequence of this, the Prisoner was told he could not now be tried, and was put away from the Bar.

Dudderam Shaw was next put to the Bar; he had been in Custody ever since the Sessions in June December 1780, and some time before, and was charged on an Indictment found last Sessions with Wilful and Corrupt Perjury in falsely taking on himself the name of Joynarain Shadow and swearing a Debt of Five Hundred Rupees was due to the Deponent Joynaarain Shadow and to another Man from Mary Maur. The Cause in which this false affidavit was alledged to be made
