the Plaintiff alledged he was unjustly imprison’d on pretence of a Revenue Debt for a Farm, for which he was neither principal Debtor nor security. It was an action for that Imprisonment from which Rada Cunt Gose was releived, by Order of the Court at which only, my dear brother Lemaistre now deceased, and I were present, on the Return of a Writ of Habeas Corpus in the Vacation, on the 26th of August 1777 when Mr. Uvedale was appointed Clerk of the Crown.
