I do not know that any of those Men were there, nor can I say they were not. I did not see Indinarain at the House of Brindabun the day the Nail was driven. As soon as I went that day out of the Hall I went home. My business was done before the driving of the Nail. I staid in the Hall because some of my students were there. They were not then in that Hall, but they lived nigh the House of Brindabun and going to see them I went to the House of my Zemindar.
