any Paper that day either before or after driving the Nail.
I heard nothing of any Paper being demanded that day. I was in the Hall that day before Ramhurry was brought in, I heard all that pass’d, and I staid till after the Nail was driven. I heard nothing of a Paper.
My business was settled before the Nail was driven. I staid there as many others did, he was the Zemindar, I went to bless him. We Villagers can not bear to see such sights as that of driving Nails into a Man’s Thumb. I said tho’ I knew what was going to be
