Motion
in Mackintosh by Mr. Grant that led Mr. Wyat to place confidence in him likewise.
Mr. Mackintosh applied to Mr. Wyat to know if he would assist Mr. Grant by taking off some of his Chunam.
Relates the story of the notes; and states two affidavits of Wyat, with the papers annexed, and an affidavit of J. Francis.
Then followed a long argument of which I did not take notes, and which concluded with a proposal of Terins on which the Rx for an Injon should be made absolute.
These having been considered, the following Order was made by consent of both sides but not settled till next morning being Friday the 11th.
After mentioning the aforesaid Rule of the 14th of January, & specifying the several papers above stated to have been read in support
thereof;
