instead of Money. In Mr. Maseyk’s account he states Money advanced by Mr. Maseyk to the amount of Sixteen Thousand Rupees, at least Twelve Thousand of which one who reads the account would understand was actual Money of his own, advanced by him, but no Money was ever really advanced by him, for he never had any.
Mr. Maseyk by the agreement between him and Colonel Martin was to pay colonel Martin Interest at Ten per Cent for the half of the Money advanced, Colonel Martin having agreed to advance Mr. Maseyk’s half on those Terms.
