I remember the committee of which Mr. Millar was a member. I borrowed one paper from Mr. Millar; the acct curt of De Mello & Mr. Price, refered to in Mr. Fenwick’s own letter to the Govr in council 20 Jan. 1791 – for that reason I borrowed it, for the letter from Mr. Fenwick, of which an extract had been sent to me from the government. When I borrowed the paper I do not recollect that whether I made my request to Mr. Millar as a member of the committee. Mr. Millar had no other trouble in getting it back than by writing a note perhaps. I do not know how Mr. Fenwic knew I had that account.
