Mr. Brix, now stated, which he had not stated before, that he had a Witness to whom the Defendants had acknowledged the Signature, and the Court were all of Opinion this was admissible as Evidence.
Note. By me John Hyde. I think this admissible Evidence, and in this Cause where the Defendants are men well known, why hands writing can certainly be well proved or disproved, and where the Witnesses are also Men of Reputation, I look on it as credible Evidence
