An Action on the Case. The Plaintiff relied on the Count for money had and received by the Defendant to the use of the Plaintiff.
Mention was made of 505 rupees to be deducted for Chout or other charges in the Cutcherry: It likewise appear’d that the Vakeels Wages, who was Vakeel for two Partners who were Plaintiffs, amounted to Five Hundred and Forty Two Rupees.
Impey on this observed, that it was said the Dewanny Adauluts, were better than this Court, because there were no Costs, but in this Case it appears the Charges amount to fourteen per Cent.
