E. I. Company v. Naderah Begum.
Believes some time in the [ILL] year 1178 to the time of the death of the said Shahbaz Beg Khan, during the whole of which period this deponent was in the service of and, with the Exception of short abscences when sent by the said Shahbaz Beg Khan or matters of Business almost always about his person, this deponent has frequently heard the said Shah baz beg Khan declars both publickly and privately amongst a Variety of his Friends and acquaintance that upon his said Shabaz beg Khan’s departure from Indostan or [ILL] the said Shahbaz Beg Khan should and did consider the said Behadre Khan as his own son, and, the person who was to succeed him the said Shahbaz beg Khan in all his Estate and property and this deponent further saith that he this deponent well remembers Ghyrut Beg heretofore of Patna aforesaid who is as this deponent has heard and believes one of the subscribing witnesses to two certain papers in the Persian Language respectively [ILL] Heba Mama and Ekraur Aum Exhibited as this deponent has also heard and believes in a certain cause or action heretofore depending in this Honourable Court in which the said Nauderah Begum was Plaintiff and the said Behadre Beg Khan, together with one Cauzee Saudi since deceased and the other Complainants Mufti Goolaum Muckdoom and Mufti Burkcot Ulleh [ILL] defendants which said papers respectively been date as this deponent has also heard and believes the Beha Nama on the tenth and the Ekraum Aum the Eleventh of the same month of Ramzaun in the [ILL] Year 1184 or 1190 of the Hijera or Mohamedan Ara And this deponent further saith that during the whole of the said month of Ramzaun abovementioned he this deponent was in attendance upon in the House of the said Shahbaz Beg Khan in the Capacity of Chobdar as aforesaid and that during the whole of the said Moushd the said Ghyrut Beg was at the House of the said Shahbaz Beg Khan to this deponents knowedge but once namely on the seventeenth day of the same month, in which day he the said
