it was in the hands of Syed Ahmed Caun. I heard 3 names read & some others which I don’t recollect there were not many seals there might be four or five seals altogether there were four or five seals on the paper before sayd Ahmed put his seal to it. I did not look at the paper I heard Sayd Ahmed read so many times. Zakariah delivered the paper to Seyd Ahmed & sayd Ahmed read it, the paper was not given into my hands. I believe (I am not certain) it is between two & three years since the Conversation passed. it is about two years since Shah Bauz Beg Khan died – this Conversation passed about [ILL] or ten after the death of Shah Bauz Beg Khawn.
With regard to my going to ofter the Bribe to the Kazee, whether such a thing could be done as he was the head Hajee: if I was to Witness it. I should have done it before, it was not my business. When I went to the Kazee I did not carry the Habbanamah with me.
