of the Hebbanamah, I brought the Draft into the Dewan Khana where I used always to sit and Called Neiaz Ally who was also in the Dewan Khana and told him to take this foul Draft and go and Copy it under the Vine that is before the Dewan Khana and in the Midst of which stands as present the monument of Shah Baz Beg Khan he finished the Copy and brought it me but the draft remained again with. I then took that Copy and affixed thereto my own seal and at 3 o’Clock in the afternoon of the same day. I told Bhyraut Beg that I intended to send this Copy to Kawbool and desired him to affix his seal to it which he did after I had read to him the Contents he not being able to read himself. Afterwards on the 2d or 3d day after this I went to Ahamed Khan. The Mogul went away and when we were alone (The Mogul was a Kajy, a fat man & had a white Bread I don’t know his name) I desired said Ahamed Khan to affix his seal to that Paper telling him that it was a Copy of a Hebbanama which Shah Baz Beg Khan had made in his life time and that I was about to send it to my Brother at Kabul with a Letter in order that the Effects of the deceased Khan at Kabul which now belonged to the Plf might not be dispersed. He said very well and put his seal to it and gave it me. The enxt day which I wa in the Dewan Khana Innaut Ullah Beg came in to visit us and got him to affix his seal to it.
