With Respect to that full Sister’s Son of mine, named Khojah Zekereah, I have appointed, that whether he remain in the Service of the Begum my Wife, or in the acquisition of his Learning, he be at all Times provided in Food and Rayment, directing the Defrayment of his Expences to be considered as one of those things necessary; that his Right may not remain a Burthen on me. The Sum of 500 Rupees shall annually at the End of the Year be sent to the House of Bahhahder Khan, on Condition of Service and Obedience. She is Mistress of all the rest, and may give it to whomsoever she pleases, for which Reason these few lines have been written as a Hebanama ordered of Gift to remain in future as a Sunnud and Document. – as done or made before just Believers and men of Respect. Written the 10th of the auspicious Month of Ramjaun in the 18th year of the Reign of the Emperour Shah Allum, corresponding with the year 1190 of the Flight of the Prophet, on whom be the Blessing of God and Race
