Mr. Ledlie for Deft observes on Cases for the express purpose of proving them forged.
In the case of Coddington v. Webb in 2 Vernon 240 the forged bond seems to have been established by proving the handwriting of the pretended Witnesses to the bond; and the Plf in Equity whose mark had been forged, obtained an order for a new Trial. If that case be as I understand it, no circumstance of it applies to the case before the Court.
