One Witness said, Gosaul Sing Jammutdar, came at Nine o’Clock in the Morning, and demanded from the Plaintiff 60,000 Tuprres. This was on the 31st day of Assin: last Assin. Note the 31st day of Assin 1188 was Sunday 14th of October 1781, according to the Almanach printed at Fort William in Bengal by Mr. J. W. Gerlach.
The Payment of 20,000 Sunaut Rupees on a Bengal Bill of Exchange was proved.
