1782 2 Term [Thursday] March 14th
The Plaintiff was confined by the order of the Defendant, and that the Plaintiff was released when that Bill was returned paid.
But the Defendant by a greater Number of Witnesses shewed, if they swore true, that the Defendant was at large when he signed the Note, and also that he executed the same day a General Release.
Therefore there was Judgment for the Defendant.
But not entirely to my satisfaction, because
