Cross examined
When Hopkins& Cullen sd prisr wa out of his senses. I thought they were jesting I have known him above 5 years. I never saw any marks of insanity about him before that.
They mentioned instances of his insanity viz his breaking his chest & tearing his clothes, & sd he has been confined for it. I never saw Prisr in liquor – but I did not much frequent the Barracks.
I never knew him to be in the Hospital on account of any alleged insanity.
