Witness Nandu Lal.
had sustained. It was about two gheris or three after the dusk of the evening, when I went to the defendant’s house on the day, when the paper was given. I am sure Ramcrishno was there & conversed with me. I remember that some pieces of silver were delivered to the defendant by the prosecutor & by his brother at night on the 3d or 4th of Jaishti. The two brothers came together. Ramcrishno went up to the defendant & laid down the silver ornaments before him saying. “I here deliver to you these things, part of those we bought from the thieves.” (This the witness calls [bamal? Camal?]) Ramheri said nothing. I am very sure. Ramcrishno added – the rest we have melted & sold.
