of Twenty One. Newman replied, that he was more than Seventeen, and that by the Custom of the Country he was then competent to sell the Land. Nothing was determined by the Court concerning the Validity of this Bill of Sale, but Impey said, and I declared my assent to it. If this Bill of Sale is valid it is only an equitable title not completed by legal conveyance, before you can support the Defendant’s title you must get a Pottah.
