The Answer of Capt Denan de Boulez. The vessel arrived at Mauritius in April 1792 from Pondicherry, in very bad condition,
– the crew demanded their wages & applied to the admiralty to have her sold, or was prevented by Faure & Co paying the money to the amount of from 26 to 30,000 Francs – in want of repairs – & would not have sold there for more than 18000 Francs (livres)
