The Covenants sent to the Officers of the Court to be sign’d by them, from Jarrett by Order of the Governor General & Council by order of the directors as it is said.
Impey. If the Gentlemen were to sign that the Court could not subsist.
I think it not very Candid to have [tender’d?] these to the Officers without informing the Court of it.
But there is less breach of Candour because I suppose they consider’d the tendering them as a matter of form and the refusal as a matter of Course.
