1778. 2 Term. Friday March 27th.

Present Hyde.
There were only a few motions of no great consequence, the Court did not sit till 10o55 and rose at Twelve.
I sent a Message to Chambers that the Court was risen, he wrote me an answer dated Half an hour after twelve, in which he inform’d me that if I had not sent a Message he would have come, though it was late, because he supposed I would choose he should be in Court when the motion in the Patna Bail; meaning the case of Nauderah Baigum v Bahauder Baig &al: where Mr. Law the Cheif and some of the Council of Patna had enter’d into the Bail Bond to the Sheriff should come on.
