Jt was given for the Plf, but as the judges differed in opinion with respect to the quantum of damages, it was (though all agreed that the Plf should have an adequate compens – for the Injury recd) the Jgs gave their opinions senatum beginning with the Junior; and in the end the Dams were assessed at 2000 SRs by the opinions of Chambers & Hyde Js, Jones being of opinion that 5000 SR ought to have been given.
